Christmas at Wellspring

As November drew to a close it was time for Wellspring to prepare for the Christmas season.

Church members with their many talents helped to decorate the main hall and foyer to bring a warm and welcoming air for visitors.

Wellspring continued the Christmas season in a very vocal way. Brave members faced bitter cold weather to meet on Moston Lane for ‘Singing on the Lane’ to bring local residents and shoppers the ‘Good News’ through traditional carol singing and handing out invitations to the upcoming Christmas carol service.

Work didn’t stop there as Christmas carol service invitations were delivered to 3000 local Moston homes.

The Christmas carol service was an exciting family and community event where the Gospel of PEACE was shared to a packed gathering. Fun and Fellowship followed when Father Christmas and his Christmas elf dropped in with presents for the children and a few adults too.

Christmas morning saw another bumper attendance as Pastor Andy brought a word of giving and receiving a gift and being thankful for the greatest gift of all, Jesus.

And the fun and games hadn’t finished yet as after two long years Wellspring’s Christmas party returned complete with bouncy castle.
